Yoga has many meanings and is difficult to define. Simply put, yoga is the study of consciousness. It is a diverse body of holistic pratices and a philosophy that dates back thousands of years and has its origins in the Vedas. Yoga is becoming increasingly popular as a pathway for Self- Realization and is increasigly being supported by a body of evidence based research particularly Hatha Yoga practices. Philosophically, it can be defined as a State of Being, where One experiences wholeness of Self & Oneness with All. The scientific body of knowledge has many pratices & methods; paths that lead us to this State of Being and Self-Realization.
